Prohibits drivers from holding a wireless telecommunications device or stand-alone electronic device with any part of their body while operating a motor vehicle.

- 01.Drivers may use devices for reporting traffic accidents, medical emergencies, or criminal activity.
- 02.Drivers have the right to use voice-to-text technology and hands-free earpieces.
- 03.Drivers may use devices while 'lawfully parked' (not at a stoplight).
Penalties
- 01.First conviction: $50 fine and 1 point on license.
- 02.Second conviction: $100 fine and 2 points on license.
- 03.Third conviction: $150 fine and 3 points on license.
