Georgia Super Speeder Law
Summary
Any driver convicted of speeding at 75 mph or more on a two-lane road, or 85 mph or more on any road or highway in Georgia, is designated a 'Super Speeder' and must pay an extra state fee.
Rights & Rules
- 01.You have the right to a hearing before your license is suspended for non-payment of the fee.
- 02.You have the right to receive notice by mail of the additional state fee after your initial conviction.
Penalties
- 01.A $200 state fee in addition to local fines.
- 02.Suspension of driving privileges if the fee is not paid within 120 days.
- 03.A $50 reinstatement fee to get the license back after suspension.
