David's Law (SB 179)
Summary
Named after David Molak, this law classifies cyberbullying as a misdemeanor and allows schools to investigate and intervene in cyberbullying incidents that occur off-campus if they affect the school environment.
Rights & Rules
- 01.Right to seek an injunction or temporary restraining order against a cyberbully.
- 02.Right for parents to be notified of a bullying incident against their child within three business days.
